McBoo (known as McBoo-Blitzman everywhere but Hatena) is a popular Canadian Flipnote artist, that has been posting since 2010. His Flipnotes focus on comedy, and have gained a following of over 10,000 Flipnote users in less than two years. He ended up leaving Flipnote Hatena on March 30th, due to the website shutting down.

Flipnote Hatena
McBoo joined Flipnote Hatena, with hopes of learning the basics of animating. He started out drawing stick figures in the best way he could, but he soon learned some new animate techniques from watching gizmo's Flipnotes, after a friend from school showed them to him. McBoo decided to become a gizmoid, in attempt to learn the gist of animating. He was soon able to copy gizmo's animation almost exactly, but ended up revamping his style into his own in the process. He does not consider himself a gizmoid anymore[1], although he still uses stick figures as his personal characters. He now uses actual cartoons as reference to help shape his style even more.
McBoo decided that he wanted to get his Flipnotes known, and started making flips that he thought users would be looking for in the most popular. Since Flipnote Hatena is the small community, McBoo's animations were noticed in time, and he gained over 10,000 fans, as well as becoming friends with almost all of his favorite creators, such as gizmo, D-Chan, Anthony, K66Gunso, and others. He even got to do a music video collab with gizmo.
Added by KingRush2010In late 2011, McBoo posted The Ashleigh Collection 3, making it the last Flipnote on his DSi (since his L button stopped working all together, after over a year of fixing it). McBoo then bought himself a DSi XL and posted his first Flipnote in late December. Although he has been using that account for over a year now, his old flips are still available.[2]
On March 30th, 2013, McBoo posted his last Flipnote, entitled Flipnote Finale.
Ask Erik!
Added by McBoo-BlitzmanAsk Erik! is an official Tumblr account, created by McBoo in February 2012. In this Tumblr, users and non-users may ask McBoo's original character, Erik questions. The blog, unlike his Flipnote account, is fully colored and is made in comic form, similar to many famous ask blogs. McBoo puts lots of work into this blog, and uses it as an alternate joke center for people that want him post more on Hatena. Ask Erik! is usually updated every week, but McBoo tends to post less now, and focuses more on the quality of the drawings.
The blog features many of McBoo's original characters, such as Dudel, McBoo, and Lickboo, as well as Erik. There are a few running gags, such as the way that Erik goes nuts over Skittles.

| Erik is the main question answerer for the blog. He enjoys Skittles a lot too, and makes sure that fact is known. He is easily annoyed by the bad questions that followers ask. | Since she is Erik's best friend, Brooklyn makes cameos on the blog a lot.
